Rigid ducting in HVAC and residential ventilation systems are used to connect the Air Handling Unit or fan to the air terminal unit. They are mainly used in combination with the flexible ducts. Rigid ducts are used in ventilation, heating and air conditioning systems, as well as large-scale duct and exhaust extraction plant.Rigid ducts are made from galvanized steel, stainless steel , PVC or PIR. We have ractangular and circular rigid ducts or spiro ducts, they can be insulated internally or externally. Rigid ductwork is suitable for all applicaitons, including hot and cold air transfer, exhaust fumes and particle extraction.
