RTVS8 - Transformer fan speed controller with Modbus RTU communication

Transformer fan speed controller with Modbus RTU communication to regulate fan speed manually or demand based. The supply voltage is in the range of 115 - 230 VAC. It controls single-phase motors. The (combined) maximum motor current is 1,5 A. RTVS8 series are controlled via Modbus communication. A Sentera HVAC sensor, potentiometer (SPV series), Modbus I/O module or a BMS system can be used to adjust the requested fan speed. Fan speed is regulated by varying the motor voltage in steps. The autotransformer technology generates a motor voltage with a perfect sinusoidal shape. This guarantees quiet motor operation. A special impregnated coating reduces the electrical noise from the autotransformers. The enclosure allows surface mounting (IP54 protection). Fan speed can be controlled manually or based on temperature, relative humidity, CO2, air quality (TVOC) or CO.
