This crucial minimum flow rate is precisely regulated by a dedicated flow regulator built into a solid blade, available in Ø80 mm or Ø100 mm sizes. This ensures essential background ventilation, preventing stale air build-up and maintaining air quality even during periods of lower activity.
- Open Position ('On' Cycle): When the system is actively ventilating, the full nominal flow rate is carefully controlled by a separate flow regulator strategically fitted upstream of the damper blade. This guarantees efficient air distribution when it's needed most.
The transition between these states is managed by a robust electric motor, while a spring-return mechanism ensures the damper reverts to its original (minimum flow) position automatically upon power loss, providing a fail-safe for continuous, albeit reduced, ventilation.
